Main areas of interest

My main interests are in major general anaesthesia including vascular, urology, gastro-intestinal, thoracic and ENT surgery.

I also have a strong interest in procedural sedation. I am a director of 3H Medical, a company that provides advanced sedation techniques for patients undergoing dental surgery.

Biography

I qualified from King's College London in June 2000.
Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2004
Fellowship of Royal College of Anaesthetists 2009
Attending (consultant equivalent) Anaesthetist at University of Michigan, USA 2011-2013. I specialised in Vascular, liver transplantation and Bariatric anaesthesia.
Consultant at University Hospital Southampton from 2013. I am clinical lead for vascular anaesthesia and anaesthesia for robotic surgery.
When not at work I love spending time with my wife and children. 
I am a passionate mountain biker.
